I just realized that I was the 49th person to join VR. That's kind of interesting.

I quit my job at the daycare today because my boss sucks, only a few of the kids are good, and my coworkers are self-centered and gossipy. So... I start my internship with Indian River Graphics on Monday morning. This position is almost guaranteed to become a paying career within 2 months, so yay! I'll have my own desk and computer, and be working in a historic house in a historical preservation village. I'll be doing things like designing websites and newsletters for the areas 3 biggest hospitals, and lots of photo-editing work. I'm just happy to have a job where I won't be getting hit, bitten, or vomited on, and where I can use the bathroom without having to ask. I'm all happy about this. However, I am annoyed at the moment because although I gave him 2 hours notice, it takes Mike so long to get ready for work that he couldn't pick me up, so I'm stuck at mom's house until he gets off work. I have so much stuff I need to get done at my home before I start a new job, and it's impossible to do it when I'm not there.

Today I was sent home 3 hours early from work because I started crying. You have 7 18-month old children under your direct care in a room roughly 11 by 14 feet, two of which are screaming because they are overstimulated, your boss is berating you over details that are not your responsibility, and tell me you wouldn't cry too.

Bride??????? Well, since I last wrote, a shit-ton has happened. Mike and I have moved in together, I got a new job as a toddler teacher at a daycare (holy shit, they actually let ME work with kids. how strange is that?) and .... I am getting married in September.
